First Sergeant (R) Andrew Hale began with Republic Services as a DOD Skillbridge Intern in July 2023. INVets played a huge role in helping him move to Indiana with his family as he was transitioning out of the US Army. INVets set up Andrew with connections throughout Central Indiana that helped ease the stress of the move and provided a wealth of information on key locations, support systems and centers, and immediate friendships with their friendly staff. Without INVets, Andrew feels that the stress of such a big change would have been much more impactful to himself and his family. With the help of INVets, and the great people of Republic Services Indianapolis Business Unit, Andrew has begun his new career outside the Military with a sense of purpose.
