Client Success Manager

POSITION SUMMARY:   The Customer Success Manager is an active member of the engagement team, providing clients-facing training delivery across multiple training formats over all current and future software products. This position will function as a product subject matter expert for internal and external clients.

ESSENTIAL ELEMENTS OF THE POSITION:  

  • Responsible for creating and maintaining standard curriculum, including supporting documents, as defined by the department director
  • Provide client-facing training on all current and future software products through multiple delivery methods, parentheses instruction LED small and large group and web-based
  • Responsible for personal project management of multiple simultaneous client training delivery projects
  • Assist in maintaining current and correct client facing training material
  • Participate in the review and testing of new curriculum and documentation
  • Provide excellent customer service throughout all client interactions
  • Travel to client locations within the state, when required

Veteran Engagement Manager

POSITION SUMMARY:   

The Veteran Engagement Manager is responsible for client engagement case management. This role will also include, at times, in-person client engagement at military installations across the country to recruit transitioning servicemembers to the state of Indiana. The role of the Veteran Engagement Manager will ensure a smooth and expeditious flow of veteran cases through the INvets pipeline from start to finish.  

ESSENTIAL ELEMENTS OF THE POSITION:   

Strategic Administration:  

  • Working closely with the Director of Engagement to strategically manage client load  
  • Support ongoing partnership and programmatic conversations with military installations   
  • Collaborate with executive team on outreach projects, programs and marketing efforts   
  • Manage and report against goals, priorities, and objectives to the Director of Engagement   
  • Provide additional support to Director of Engagement as requested    

Veteran Engagement Manager Function:   

  • Builds and maintains a network of sources from which to identify veterans with potential to relocate to Indiana when leaving the military   
  • Communicates with veterans to identify and understand their intentions for their next career   
  • Manage the transition lifecycle of each client assigned to you through the Veteran Engagement Case Management system in Salesforce 
  • Communicate the benefits to veterans of living in Indiana the functions and utility of products or services to customers based on their needs and aspirations   
  • Communicate, engage and execute outreach activities for INvets   
  • Identify and analyze process improvements   
  • Manage and develop relationships with base and corporate partners   
  • Seek and utilize data from job postings and talent profiles in INvets’ database and other web- based platforms to understand the labor market in Indiana
  • Maintains communication with existing and previous veterans  
  • Utilize Salesforce to develop detailed records of activities and profiles of veterans  
  • Performs other duties as assigned  

Required Skills and Abilities:   

  • Willingness to travel throughout the week, often including overnight stays

Development Officer

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Development Officer will serve as a primary liaison connecting the work of INvets to the organization’s primary stakeholders.  This is a dynamic position with a hybrid focus celebrating donor engagement while prospecting new donors and potential partners.  In close collaboration with the senior leadership team, this position will assist in creating and managing the organization’s Advancement Plan to broaden the organization’s donor base to increase financial support.    

This position exists to create and implement overall growth strategies for all fundraising activities, including individual donations, foundation relations, government support, special events, and other sources of philanthropic support for INvets. 

ESSENTIAL ELEMENTS OF THE POSITION: 

Strategic Administration:

  • Commitment to the organization’s core values and guiding principles set by the CEO and Board.  
  • Work closely with the CEO on short- and long-term advancement planning and evaluation of advancement goals focused on sustainable annual and major gift philanthropic revenue growth to support interim and long-range financial goals set and approved by the Board of Directors.  
  • Support the Advancement Committee within the Board of Directors.  
  • Oversee, monitor, and analyze reporting of metrics and outcomes for fundraising and community engagement activities and goals.  
  • Work closely with the CEO on the design and implementation of comprehensive fundraising campaigns, partner engagement, and funder solicitation.

Advancement / Donor Engagement:  

  • Maintains an active portfolio of 75 to 100 donors and prospects and donors to cultivate potential contributions, designs and develops solicitation strategies, identifies gift opportunities that match donor interests, and personally solicits and closes gifts and continually stewards donors.  
  • Work with INvets team members, staff, and volunteers to identify interests, affiliations and capacity of prospects.
  • Design and implement a donor identification and cultivation strategies for all gifts with a focus on recurring giving.. 
  • Oversee and ensure deliberate tracking and follow up using INvets CRM, Salesforce, and other accounting measures.  
  • Develop and implement a stewardship program designed to strengthen relationships with community stakeholders and sustain mutually beneficial relationships. 
  • Prepares accurate and compelling written proposals.  
  • Develop special events strategies and implementations aligned with Advancement Plan.
  • Coordinate and engage the Advancement Committee and Board of Directors in special event plan implementation.

Required Skills and Abilities: 

  • Proven achievements in revenue generation.  
  • Demonstrated understanding of planned giving strategies, regulations, and gift instruments.  
  • Ability to engage and coordinate effectively with Board and staff level teams.  
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.  
  • Must be a team player.  
  • Adherence to confidentiality policies. 
  • Ability to manage diverse and challenging tasks and competing priorities. 
  • Possess a high degree of computer literacy. 

Education and Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree with foundation in business, marketing, public relations, marketing, or related field.   
  • A minimum of five years of successful fundraising experience with three years managing multiple revenue streams.
