Cedar Lake Fire Department is comprised of 3 shifts that rotate the 24 on/48 off schedule. Crew integrity and comradery are among the traits that are very important to us. Almost everything that is done in the Firehouse is completed as a team. Crews work together, train together, eat together, and succeed together. Cedar Lake Fire Department also provides training for interested personnel in teams such as the Dive Team, Hazmat Team, and Technical Rescue Team. The Town of Cedar Lake is experiencing rapid growth which provides great opportunities for candidates looking for employment where everyday is a new challenge.
