Benton County

We have thriving, classic small towns strung out like pearls across the prairie. City parks, festivals, and golf courses provide a wealth of recreation opportunities. Our education system is bolstered with strong schools and libraries. We are known as one of Indiana's top agriculture communities, being known as the home of Dan Patch, Famous World Champion Harness Horse and now being known as the home of Indiana's First Wind Farm.

Home to Indiana's First Wind Farm

Benton County has certainly been the topic of many discussions across the State, the Nation, and the World. One of the most frequently asked questions is "Can we come to see the Wind Turbines?" and the answer is "Yes!" We are just tickled to welcome visitors to see the Wind Turbines.

Our Local Treasure

Our historic theater is located in the town of Fowler. A one-story, Art Deco-style movie theater originally built in 1940. We love watching the latest movies in a piece of history.

Escape in the Outdoors

Pine Creek Camp is 336 acres of beautiful woodland along the banks of Big Pine Creek.
